LUTS not showing up in Lumetri Panel?

I've been using LUTs for a few months and I'm just getting in the hang of them. The first issue I had was lumetri not exporting the LUTs I used under the "Creative" tab. I ended realizing .cube files only export if loaded under the "Basic Correction" tab. So I transferred all of my .cube file LUTs from the "Creative" to "Technical" folder in the package content "LUTs" folder. Now that I have transferred the 600+ LUTs, about 50 don't know show up in the dropdown menu of "Basic Correction" tab. I made sure the files are .cube and the just choose not to show. Is there a limit in numbers?

System Specs

- macOS serra 10.12.4

- 2.7Ghz Intel Core i7

- 16GB RAM

There's both joy and frustrations in using the folders that are used by the Technical and Creative tabs. It's rather a time-saver to just scroll... but with that many LUTs there, it gets difficult. At your number, i would suggest creating a separate folder structure for them, as easy to navigate as possible.

Also, if you use the PrPro program folders, then export via Media Encoder, you need to have the LUTs also copied to the Media Encoder program files structure. In exactly the same numbers and names.

PrPro and ME seem to use a "relative" reference to LUTs In the Technical folder and Looks in the Creative folder. But ... if a LUT or Look is stored in a folder outside the program files, they use an absolute reference.

You can save Lumetri settings as a preset, which when applied,  adds another full instance of Lumetri to a clip. You can save as a .cube LUT form, and apply in the Basic tab or many other programs. You can also save as a Look file, which is a different form of LUT, and use in the Creative tab, and also in many other programs.

Thank you so much for that wonderful insight. Can you go more into detail about the relative and absolute reference? Are you saying if I remove the LUTs from the creative and technical folders of both Premiere Pro and Media Encoder, then move the LUTs to an outside folder, I don't have to worry about LUTs not exporting?

What is your most recommended method for using LUTs that exporting is no worry? Apologies for not being that literate.  The technical side of Creative Cloud and how each software works together is all new to me.

The LUTs that come with PrPro, leave there in the folders they are put in by PrPro. It's jst better to put your own LUTs in a separate folder structure.

Something easy to find ... they tend to be small, so a desktop folder isn't necessarily a bad choice.
