m1 Mac studio 2022 Premier 2024 and beta won't play clips

I am about done with premier.  THe amount of hours I have lost to trying to fix bugs is ridiculous.  I am late delivering a project now.  Im using a M1 mac studio ultra.  Im still on monteray 12.7.2  as Im reading all sort of posts saying Sonoma 14.2.1 doesnt work either.  Im reaching out to see if anyone has got Sonoma to work ok? Im working off fast SSD's ITs a really straightforward edit and cant even play clips now.

im on th elatest versions of premiere.

I have done all the ususal restarts  cleared cache etc.... Im going nuts here please anyone help!
