Mac studio m4 max lagging performance

Hi everyone,

I've just purchased a brand new mac studio m4 max and I'm unable to use any envato graphics templates with adobe premiere pro as it either freezes or skips frames. I don't know if this is a mac issue or Adobe? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Majid,

Sorry for the issue. If you upload the template and PM me the location (https://adobe.ly/4k1qFsK), I can check it out for you. Hope to help.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Sorry for the late reply. So I decided to return my mac studio and go for a model with 48GB of RAM. I hope this fixes the issue. I'm trying to future proof myself with a machine that will serve me well long term.

HI @majid_3973,

Thanks for the message. Welcome to the forum. These graphics templates can be pretty hard to handle for any computer to play back in real time. I suggest you render the templates in the timeline before playing them back. What happens then? Let me know.

Thanks,
Kevin

When I render the template it plays back ok. My issue is when I scrub through the template to change the text or resize it starts to freeze or skips frames. This is the link to the template https://elements.envato.com/intro-showreel-for-premiere-pro-3KW3UE6

I have nothing else on my timeline. Just this template and my Mac is freezing.
