Mac to PC Premiere Issues with Rendering Transitions

We have recenetly made the jump from Mac to PC for our editing suite.

This was mainly due to the cost of a new Mac Pro compared to a more powerful custom PC

After installing the Adobe suite and doing some tests i have come into an issue with rendering transitions in existing projects

To summarise:

Moved from Mac to PC.

Using Premiere Pro 2015.2
Created project on Mac, used various transitions such as Barn Doors.
Works perfectly on Mac.
Copied all files associated to PC.
Opened properly, reconnected media.
Begun Render and Permiere would constantly crash once rendering a Transition that was made when the file was edited on the Mac.
After deleting the transition and applying it again on the PC. The Render works perfectly, up until it comes across another transition that was made on the Mac etc.

As we have lots of projects its not very feasible to constantly replace transitions.

Is there a setting i havent set? Or something that needs to be installed?
