Macbook Air not suitable

I just got Premiere Pro but I realise that my Macbook Air is not sufficiently powerful to use it.

I think I need to get an other labtop. I don't have much money. Please could you advise what I should buy to be able to read my rushes and work on Premiere Pro without bugging ?

    Might want to consider using Proxies.

    What are the Air's specs and what kind of media is used?

    Thank you for your response but i am afraid I am not understanding it. my IT skills/ vocabulary is very limited.

    What Ann was asking is for you to give us the stechnical specifications of your macbook air.
