Major audio issues in CC2018 12.1 and 12.1.1

Along with the other issues I've listed in previous threads, I have now discovered an issue with solo'ing and and muting of audio tracks.

Whilst trying to figure out which track was the culprit for the below issue, I found another issue. When selecting on track to solo the audio meters still show another track active, but audio is constant as if it's playing the glitch, but no sound is actually heard.

At this point I am rolling back to the last version of 2017 as none of the 2018 versions have been stable enough to work in.

Other issues include sending to After Effects which creates a new composition, but the video file does not get sent with it, so the comp is empty. Sound stops working when scrubbing back and forth through timeline and a reboot is required, this is a regular issue and no work around. Audio glitch on tracks that have blank areas needs to be filled with null audio clips to stop the glitch as you can hear below.

Adobe, please could someone investigate these issue and get them fixed ASAP?

Mikelehan,

Kindly add your voice to this bug: random audio layers are muted (without mute button activated) since last 04/2018 update! – Adobe video & audio apps

There is a fix scheduled in an upcoming release, however, please add your vote and comment. It helps.

Thanks,
Kevin

How do you expect people to use this software professionally?  No update since April??  There are a lot of editors out there, just waiting for something else to become the industry standard.

I'm editing a feature documentary and my audio for certain nested sequences will drop out completely.  I have to go in and do solo / un-solo.  I have to do this many times a day and it ruins my playback when I'm trying to watch the movie.

Unacceptable.

Update:

I copied everything into a new sequence and sound issues seemed to have stopped, but when I apply the audio effects as setup in the previous sequence the issue is back regarding the glitching of audio.

Having same issues - audio problems galore.  Suddenly certain clips won't play - hitting "solo" on and off on another track might get it playing again; if multicam, having to click through (disabling multicam first by right clicking) and opening clip, then solo on/off in the multicam can bring back.  But this issue constantly re-occurs.
