Mark In/out in source window timeline

I have the latest Premiere Pro running on an MACBOOK PRO M1, and I've noticed, if you click on a clip and in the source window timeline, if you mark a clip's in/out,  it does not show up on the source timeline.  The clip will be cut, but there is no way to see where you marked in the timeline.
