Question

Marker not going where playhead is on merged clip

When I try putting a marker on a clip in the timeline, it'll go in a completely different point on the timeline. I'm using timecode syncing to sync the audio with video, and what has been happening is that when I hit "add marker", it'll add the marker an amount of time before the playhead equal to the difference between when the audio started rolling and the camera started rolling.

I've found a workaround in that if I copy the timecode at the start of the video and put that timecode on the audio preview playhead, then mark the In-point there, but at that point it's just a couple clicks away from being just as time consuming as manual syncing via slate.

I've done a bit of digging and apparently Adobe doesn't like when people use merged clips? I'm genuinely going to have to switch softwares after the project I'm working on if there's no better solution for this. Actively not supporting a feature is dumb.

@defaultz63e6ed8v1g8 Can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing, with the playhead where you want it and with the marker some distance away?
