Markers Panel -- Feature requests (compilation)
1 - Improve control over Marker-to-Playhead cuing
How would you like the feature to work?
Single-clicking a marker when Source/Program are paused will cue the playhead.
But clicking while playing will not cue the playhead.
Would be great to have the option of cueing the playhead while in play.
Consider: Single clicking does not cue a marker. Make that a double click, and make it available both in pause or play.
Currently double-clicking a marker opens a Marker entry popup. Perhaps move that to a context-click (right click) or Alt-Cick
Why is this feature important to you?
More articulate control over use of markers
2 - Marker Functionality -- increased integration with PPro ecosystem.
How would you like the feature to work?
Ability use Metadata properties on markers. Metadata applied to markers wouldn't necessarily have to embed in the file. The benefit would be in unifying categories headers and contents so that both clips and markers within clips could be tagged in a way that lends itself to conceptual consistency.
Why is this feature important to you?
App consistency / project & workflow consistency and efficiency.
3 - Title Copy & Paste / Import of exported markers
How would you like the feature to work?
Ability to move markers from one clip to another.
Either by means of copy and paste
Or by means of importing from an exported CSV or TXT
Why is this feature important to you?
The ability of someone to create markers in one project and pass those markers via a marker file for import.
Ability of copying markers from one bin instance of a clip to its duplicate.
4 - Marker Panel Functionality -- Additional features
How would you like the feature to work? .
- Ability to sort by Marker Name, Marker Comment, In point, Out Point
- Additional headers, sortable by those headers: Marker Duration (if any), Marker Color, Marker Type, and Any additional Custom-Defined Headers

Why is this feature important to you?
The more navigability via markers, greater the ease of access and control from more contexts, the bigger the boost to the editing process.
