so I've been working on a sequence of masks for the same subject through a video. I haven't had any problems until this specific section. I've seen some other's advice about the sequence having different settings, but I don't know what to change, or if that is even the problem. What's going on?
With this specific sections, I was also more lenient with correcting the mask in each frame. Obviously going per frame is more diligent, but I don't think is should mess up this much.
Thanks for the question. You can either try masking and tracking or you can do a more manual approach.
For intense masking jobs, After Effects is the better tool with rotobrush. It looks like you are trying to do a job that is more suited for rotobrush.
If you want to progress with Premiere Pro masks, and if easy masking and tracking isn't working, set mask path keyframes for the first and last frames of the clip. Then set one near the middle, adjusting the mask. A keyframe is automatically set. Then, divide and conquer between each set of keyframes until you're satisfied.
As I suggested earlier, when you get to the point of adding a lot of keyframes, move to After Effects to make shorter order of this work. Let me know if you need any help.
I hope the advice helps.
