Mask options not showing in the effect controls panel

I'm trying to mask with a rectangle the gaussian blur effect on a clip, but it's not showing the pen/rectangle/ellipse options on the gaussian blur panel control. I'm running version 26 (Build 72) on macOS Tahoe 26.2
