Mask Tools (Ellipse, Rectangle, Pen) Missing in Opacity – Premiere Pro 2026 on macOS

Question

I am using Adobe Premiere Pro 2026 (version 26.2.2) on a Mac (Apple Silicon).

In the Effect Controls panel, under Opacity, I cannot see the mask tools:

Ellipse Mask
Rectangle Mask
Free Draw Bezier (Pen Tool)

I have selected the video clip and expanded the Opacity section, but the mask icons do not appear. I only see "Unassigned Masks" at the top of the Effect Controls panel.

Is this a bug, a workspace issue, or has something changed in Premiere Pro 2026?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
