Masking and roto doesn't make sense.

I don't get how you can have a tool like roto which auto detects objects and also a tool in photoshop which autoselects objects but the masking can't be auto selected and you have to do it manully in premire pro.  It doesn't make sense that masking can't be auto brushed on things. We live in 2024 but it seems like we're living in 2003.
