Match 2 frames after tripod moved

Is it possible to match or align 2 frames after a tripod

slightly moved from take to take? Moving the

frame on the x axis works but then i have to

scale or something to keep the aspect ratio

You might be able to use the edge of one frame to fill the black area left after you reposition the clip if there is no movement.
