Media Cache Preference Wont Save

Pretty much the same as the title. In Premiere pro I'm trying to set the Preference "Save Media Cache files next to originals when possible" to true as I've got multiple harddrives. However, I hit "OK" and I'll load up the preferences again and it's changed back to false. Really bugging me.

Any help is appreciated

I failed to mention that I was on CC 11.1.1. This is actually a known bug in this version that is fixed in  11.1.2. However I cannot go to 11.1.2 because of a Major bug that would add hours to my edits. Sorry guys!

Yeah did that, still doesn't allow me to tick "Save Media Cache files next to originals when possible"

Hi Killertom,

just delete the former cache, Premiere will build up new files next to your footage.

Where would I find the former Cache please?

Open Premiere -> preferences -> media cache

There you find the path to your cache folders.
