Media mismatch- Audio files get deleted from video file (for MAC)

I keep getting the following message when I try to import files into Premier Pro CC (2018)

" The selected file does not contain audio media used by clip referncesin one or more sequences. These audio clip references will be deleted, and cannot be undone. Do you want to continue?"

Need to figure out a fix. I didn't have any issues with either Premier or Prelude till I did an update on both. Now I am having so many issues.
