Media Pending - Premiere CC 2018

Hello everyone,

I have a brand new computer (Windows 10 Pro - Processor Intell (R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @3.60GHz Ram 8GB 64-bit operating system, x64)

I install Adobe Premiere CC 2018 a week ago, but every time I am opening a project it says media pending for more that 20 minutes. I have to open and close the project more than 4 times to eventually successfully open it. I have duplicate the project, nevertheless this doesn't help.

It's worth mentioning that the footage is simply mp4s & photos, nothing heavy to justify this problem.

Any thoughts?

Vidya,

I'm working from a Mac and trying to link media from an existing project and when I click "Link Media" it freezes the program and I have to do a Force Quit. This has only happened since the most recent update to my knowledge.

I'm using CC 12.0.

So, I'm pretty much up a creek because I can't bring any footage into this project.

Sorry for the inconvenience with Media pending issue. What is the location of the media & media cache?

Have you cleared all the media cache after updating Premiere Pro to the latest version?

I have same problem conforming mp4 takes forever. I cleared cache. Still having extremely long conforming. Any suggestions to improving the conforming time.
