Memory leaks and crash after auto reframing sequence with nested sequences in timeline

Premiere Pro repeatedly crashes when attempting to save a project that has a sequence which has been auto-reframed with nested sequences inside of it; the program freezes and I'm forced to quit as it is using around 30-40gb of memory. This can be avoided by un-nesting any sequences in the sequence before reframing, but that's the only solution I've found so far.
