Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration (CUDA) artefacts and Squares

Hi,

When using Mecury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA) I strange artifacts/squares during play back and scrubbing and even on the exported file. This is fixed when I switch into software only but its very slow as a result. I didnt have this problem 2 months back and tried switching back to the older version of Primiere Pro. I will try with an older GPU Driver to further trouble shoot.

Im using a Nvidia 1080ti with 451.48 Drivers, Windows 10 Build 2004.

It is a driver issue. You are not alone in this. Many other users, not just of Premiere Pro, but also DaVinci Resolve, suffer from the same problem with the 451.48 drivers. The only fix for that would be to revert back to a 44x.xx-series driver until the bugs in the 45x.xx series get fixed.

Thank you for the quick reply, I'm glad to hear its not an isolated issue. I will try rolling back the drivers to remedy the issu shortly and will report back.

Super RjL190365 you are a star. I can not loose sleep over it. I can say its working perfectly fine now and glad it wasn't a matter with the new build of windows 10 which ive fully committed to blindly. Thanks again.
