Metadata & Timecode effect undercooked and unusable

It blows my mind that the metadata effect has been released in such a bad state. During the beta phase I mentioned a problem that should've come to mind immediately from the start when this tools was designed. Could've been easily implemented, yet it isn't addressed in it's current state.

Why is all text left aligned???

As it stands now, you have to place your metadata on the left side of the screen only, otherwise your placement is not consistent with variable text lengths.

Please devs.. implement features that makes center aligned text by default but add options for left or right aligned. In fact why not just implement the same text tools as with a text layer for the global settings? We can't even format the look apart from background opacity.

Additionally please implement Sequence Name as an option.

To iterate again, look at Resolve. They provide anything you could ask for. Their CustomText section allows any existing metadata in the project to be called via wildcards which is incredibly powerful.
