Mighty Mouse rolling between timelines- settings to change

Hi I'm using a typical Apple wireless mighty mouse while editing.

The touch sensitivity is very high and with the slightest finger roll I'm flying between timelines at a stupid speed by mistake constantly. This is tedious and confusing and causing a lot of stress. I can't find any relevant settings to change in my Apple mouse preferences OR in adobe premiere. The "help" search window doesn't even pull up anything related to the word "mouse". Not sure how to turn this off. If anyone knows please share.
