Question

Missing audio after export

In PremierePro v. 14.0.2, I have a video that I have been trying to export, however, there are certain audio clips that do not play after export. For these particular clips, I have added the Graphic Equalizer effect. Also, these clips were imported from a zoom recorder whereas the other clips I found online and have also added the GE effect and they export perfectly. Interestingly, the clips that will not export have a yellow FX tag, whereas the others are green.

All of the clips are MP3s.

I have tried everything from creating a new sequence with multichannel audio settings and exporting as a Quicktime to deleting the GE effect, which neither work.

Any ideas what the issue could be?

What source was feeding your Zoom recorder, was it a mono microphone?

Convert the mp3 files to wav before importing into Premiere Pro.  Sometimes Premiere Pro doesn't behave well with mp3 files.
