Missing Profile Folder?

Hi!

I want to copy the .kys file to a new machine to keep my Premiere Pro keyboard shortcuts. Online instructions say to go to C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\[Premiere version]\Profile-username\Win then copy the file.

The problem is I have no profile folder....anywhere. Only a Tutorial folder. Searching for a .kys file produces no results.

I've checked all Users on the machine and I cannot find an Adobe Profile folder anywhere.

Any thoughts?

I'm using creative cloud so is it possible the folder is hidden somewhere in there? Thank you!!

FYI using version 23.5 and Windows 11 Pro

First off, here's a link to the folder that contains the prefs

%UserProfile%\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\23.0\

Paste that into file explorer.

If that doesn't work, or even if it does, get this program, "Everything", it is by far the best, near perfect software I've ever used!

Oh, and also, in PP open the keyboard prefs screen and Save your current layout or any layout with a very unique name, Quit PP. then back in Windows search for that name.

Ahh thank you so much! Your link worked. Apparently when OneDrive is installed, it copies the users in there as well. Thank you for the info on VoidTools. I will check that out too!

You're welcome. Be sure to backup that whole folder in your backup routines. the '23' folder or even up one to the Premiere Pro folder. That way your keyboard shorts, prefs and workspaces (Layouts) will all get saved also.
