Missing Timelines

I recently updated to the most recent version of Adobe Premiere CC this week and now I have run into a issue where all of my working Project timelines are missing. I have to go into the Auto Save folder and pull the last Auto Save. Is this a known problem?

johana52999987: This situation is difficult to understand. You don't save timelines; you save just your Premiere Pro project, which contains sequences that open in the Timeline panel. It would be very helpful for us if you posted a full screen shot before and after you "save your timeline" so that we can see what has actually changed — and then maybe we can help set you in the right direction.

I am experiencing similar problems since updating Premier recently.  Something has gone wrong with the Project panels and the timelines.  When I open some projects, the timeline will NOT appear in the timeline panel.  I can have several project tabs open, and it shows all their media.  But the timeline panel, and the playback panel above it are completely blank!

This happens when some of the projects are loaded singly, just after starting Premier, and sometimes when loading other projects.  Premier suddenly seems to have some kind of major problem with having multiple projects open at once and overlapping.  It won't switch from timeline to timeline.  It will only load one, and then keep that one timeline and playback open forever, even if you switch to another project tab. It just seems as if the timeline and program info has been wiped out of many projects! It never used to do that before. Please help!!!

EDIT:   It seems you have to double-click on the sequence item in the project tab to get the timeline to re-appear.  Handy to know, but I had to experiment for over an hour to figure it out.

Nick Fury: What do you mean by "Project timelines"? Those are usually called sequences and they should all still be in the Project panel when you open it. Please post a screen shot.

You're the first I've seen report this.

Could it be the sequences just need to be opened?

I opened few of my projects in Premiere pro cc 2018 on Mac OS X and everything was fine.

Do you mean that the timeline panel is not visible when you open your project or all of your sequences are missing in Premiere pro
