Question

mogrt doesn't show up in playback

The mogrt shows up in essential graphics, the mogrt's preview works, but it just doesn't show up in plackback. It seems that this issue was never discussed before and I wasn't able to find any answers, as every tutorial just shows them drag the mogrt above the video and it just working flawlessly each time. I followed a tutorial on creating mogrts from start to finish, doesn't work. I did everything by myself on a different computer, doesn't work. What could I possibly be doing wrong?

A number of things, naturally! This is a complex program, there's several ways to do everything, all of which seem to have different "implications" down the line, and many times "obvious" little detailed steps are left unmentioned. When I do tutorials, I always check to make sure I both show and/or demonstrate all the steps.

So in this case, showing a screen grab of your sequence, WITH the far-left header control block showing, would be needed. There are several settings in that control block alone that have potential issues here.

Hi there, so what was the final solution for this? I am having a similar issue. The mogurt was created by the graphics team, and the editors use it for our shows. The mogrt is recognized in Essential Graphics and even shows a preview, but when I drop it in the timeline, it appears in the timeline but not in the playback. Playback does not even give an error, the mogrt is completely gone.

I am trying to find the original Ae file from where the mogrt was rendered, but if I am not able, is there another solution.

There have been several updates since, but all Adobe software on our computer is updated to the same version.
