MOGRT file doesn't work on Premiere

I've downloaded an animated title in .ae format from Envato, and I could adjust it with my fonts and colours as I wanted. 

 

However, it's been hard to export it to use in Premiere. I exported it an mogrt. file, but when I import it to premiere it completely loses the settings of colour. 

 

In the Graphics Tab in Premiere, the preview shows the file as previously set on AE. But when I drag it to the timeline it comes completely wrong. How do I fix this?

Hi @gabemux !

Just by looking at the screenshots, I suspect that you are using a non-English version of Premiere Pro and that this Mogrt has not been universalized. Am I correct? Unfortuneatley, After Effects Mogrts have to be created in a certain way in order for the expressions to work universally. I would pass this feedback on to Envato.

If you are willing you could fix the After Effects project yourself, or you could use the Universalizer script, but it's not free (https://aescripts.com/expressionuniversalizer/)

 

Maybe easier, you can decide if you are willing to use Premiere Pro in English (go to  Creative Cloud, uninstall Premiere Pro, go to the Creative Cloud Preferences and change install language to English under "Apps").

 

Also, you can get Mogrts from Adobe Stock and be sure that our Mogrts are universalized 🙂 . In the Essential Graphics panel, open the Browse tab and click Adobe Stock. We also have a great free collection!

    Hi Gabriel,

    Could you go to the Edit options in the Essential Graphics panel (Window > Essential Graphics) and let us know if you find any controls for changing the colors? I'm attaching a screenshot from another template for your reference. You may not have the same control options as shown in the screenshot.
