MOGRTS loading default font

Premiere 23.2.0 (Build69)

Created titles using MOGRTS in the essental graphcs panel.

Shared the project with a coworker and the font im using didnt show up. Default font was used. He has the fonts I used installed on his computer.

He saved the project on his end, sent it back to me and the fonts are still wrong. I will have to go in and change the font on every title unless there is a work around.

any ideas?

"He has the fonts I used installed on his computer" is where I bet the problem may be. There are various fonts that from a user-facing perspective are "the same" but are actually different strains of the same font or have slightly different programmatic names under the hood. The app has the font stored as "Bebas Neue-4678" and the font on his computer is called "Bebas Nuee-5123"

It's a cruel trick!

My advise would be to send him the exact font file you used in your project and have them install it.

Alternatively, you can try to find the font on Adobe Fonts. If you replace the font in your project with the Adobe Font, then that version of the font will auto-sync when the project is opened on another computer via that person's Adobe account.

Lemme know if either of those solutions fail, and we can tackle things from there.

Cheers,

Dacia

Thanks for the quick and specific help there. I didn't even realize the blame things can carry numbers and be different just 'cause of that. Jeepers.

Fonts "outside" of the Adobe CC cloud ones can be problematic at times. For sure.

@Jarle Leirpoll or @DaciaSaenz or @Ann Bens  ... thoughts?
