Morph Cut Fails (Error reading node properly) AE VideoFilter:27 Morph Cut error

Hey Adobe Community,

Our team is having a universal problem across 2019 Premiere and 2020 Premiere and would love some insight. (three different computers and users) When dragging and dropping the morph cut over a section of video the node breaks. A red warning sign flashes in the corner of the program and a list of error messages pops up when referencing the effect. Our workspace becomes unusable and we have to reboot. The only things we have tried have been to delete preferences which does clear a few error messages but we are still having problems.

We use this effect to get rid of ums and uhs in our videos and it's become a huge pain to work around for our team. Any suggestions? Any ideas of what I can use as a substitute that could work as well or better than morph cut?
