Question

Mosaic Features Missing?

A few months ago, I was working on a project and utilizing the mosaic feature, specifically changing the amount of blocks on the x and y axis so the blocks weren’t prefect squares (192*180 blocks for the whole screen). I also remember being able to click a button to sharpen the edges and have it only affect the vertical lines, so the horizontal lines were still blurred.

I can’t find these features anymore, were they removed? Is there a way I can imitate the effect I had by changing the currently existing parameters? I imagine not, if I can’t change the block’s width and height properties, but please let me know.

They aren’t there :(

The new mosaic also makes perfect squares but not sure how to set 192 horizontally

Hi gabe_8606,

Have you checked if the effect FI: Mosaic FX (under Video Effects > Film Impact Essential FX) has the options you are looking for?

Thanks,

it just does the exact same affect, still can’t change the horizontal or vertical boxes, only “num. tiles”

With this new FI Mosaic one is unable to set amount of horizontal or vertical blocks like with the old Mosaic effect. This is a step backwards.
