Motion Graphics Templates stuck at 15% and won't load

Hello I'm on a Mac (Monterey 12.0.1) with Premier and After Effects installed.  When I try to load motion graphics templates in Premier they just get stuck at 15% and won't load further.  It's very frustrtaing as I have many templates and all of them seem to have the same issue, the only templates that work are the default Adobe ones.  I'm using After Effects 2021 (18.4.0) and Premier Pro 20201 (15.2.0).
