Move Tool For Type Tool

With the old title function, the title could be moved (while stile in the titler) by holding down the Crtl (Windows) while moving the title.  Is there a way to move the new title (PP 2017) without having to first deselecting the title and then using the move tool?  I know there is the "Position" function in the Effects Control panel, but that takes a couple of key strokes to make that work.  The old way was only one key stroke (hold down Ctrl key) and move the title to your hearts content.
