Mpeg-TS (Multichannel Audio) Help

Hi all,

We are running experiments in the office to generate multichannel .ts files for our takers. Using Adobe Premiere we can export at Mpeg-TS (Mpeg2) at x2 the speed, which is great! The challenge is, we can't configure Premiere to export the 4 channels of audio.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how we might be able to find a solution? Sorry, stereo downmix is not the answer.

Regards,

JD

are you sure that multiple channels are possible with a .ts file?  You might ask the people who are requesting this format to send you a sample.  Might require special software to export it...

Spoke with an Adobe Engineer who was convinced it was possible. Turns out it is not. It has now been added as a feature request. I looks like an oversight on their part.
