MSI VECTOR 5080 Can't see things footage with CUDA render

Just bought my newest MSI VECTOR via RTX5080, I just can't see footage with CUDA render. Even I try reinstall graphic driver (Either tried Game Drive and Studio), Premier Pro still the same. OpenCL just fine but it take too long for export a footage. Sent help QQ

Adobe Ver: AdobePremierePro2025v25.2.1.002

My Spec: 

  • NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5080 Laptop GPU, GDDR7 16GB
  • Windows 11 Home
  • Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 275HX
  • Ram DDR5 16GB*2

You are basing your conclusion on ... what, exactly?

 

One thing that has changed is if the program sees a usable GPU, it doesn't anymore allow us to change the GPU use, and it's greyed out, so it looks like it isn't using the GPU, and that has confused a lot of people. As in that option box, greyed out means it is using the GPU.

Hey Neil -  We are currently preparing documentation regarding the removal of the Software Rendering option.

Here are a few important notes:

  • If your system has only an NVIDIA GPU, you will see a greyed-out selection box  similar to what appears on Apple Silicon (ARM) machines.

  • If your system has both an NVIDIA GPU and an Intel iGPU, you will see a drop-down menu allowing you to choose between CUDA and OpenCL.

  • If you have only an AMD GPU, OpenCL will be displayed but greyed out, as no alternative is available.

    I know when this first popped up on the public beta forum, it was confusing ... to mostly highly experienced users. It can definitely use full elucidation.

    Hi @JackG... - What type of footage are you working with?  Can you download mediainfo and post a screenshot of the file properties.  What driver version do you have installed?
