MTLCompilerService quit unexpectedly

Here's the only crash error I get now....

No idea what it does, or if it's serious?  The past year of Premiere has pop up crashes every week and I've grown to ignore them.  I do wonder sometimes (given the performance gains) whether it's time to go back to FCPX, but that's a whole new topic I guess
