Multicam Keeps Playing when pressing Stop or Pause

Hi, I have just installed the premiere pro beta 23.4.0 build 48 to test the multicam lag, meaning when my sequence is playing and I hit Spacebar or click the square icon under the program view to stop the playback, the stop playback is slow to respond or doesnt respond at all and it just keeps playing.

I am continuing to have this issue with the public beta.

I recorded the issue here:

an instance of it occuring is at

I have created memory dumps when the playback is continuing without responding here

(it is currently uploading the files and may take a while, when done you should see 3 .zip files, these are 3 memory dumps)

I hope this helps, if there is anything further I can provide to show, or anything youd like me to do different when it occurs let me know

thanks!

Well I have an update, I have taken the proejct I was showing off in the OP, I used a downgrader tool and converted it from 23 to 22.  I installed the 22 premiere to my computer, and opened the project with that, and i have edited for 2 nights now about an hour+ each, and there is no lag whatsoever when pressing the space to pause or stop the playhead.

I am suffering from exactly the same problem. I also tested the 23.4 beta version and it was still the same. In other words, this problem will not be resolved for another 2-3 months. But as far as I remember, this problem existed in previous versions 2019 , 2020. In fact, according to what I read in another comment, this problem has been present for about 10 years and there is still no solution for this problem. I don't understand how this program can be "Pro". How can a program be both the most expensive and the most troublesome?  Shouldn't be surprised when people switch to Davinci. I'm wondering if we can at least get some feedback that this issue exists and that a solution is being worked on.

Was really hoping this would be fixed in the 23.3 update...if it's still happening in the beta for 23.4, I guess it isn't.
