Multicam Running VERY SLOW when adding clips/audio to an existing timeline

Somewhere between 23.0 and 23.6 there is a bug that causes PP to run supppppppper slow and even crash or freeze when editing multicam after adding additional clips or audio to the timeline. 

I am referring to the timeline within the multicam not the "green" typical multicam sequence where you would edit the actual multicam sequence. If you add anything or alter anything even color grading clips and such, it kills your project. Even after letting it sit for a while and trying to just edit the multicam it acts as if you are on a pentium processor on windows 98. 

I revereted to 23.0 and am having no issues like before updating. I cannot tell you which update betewen 23.0 and 23.6 messed it all up but it has to be closer to the 23.6 if not 23.6 itself.
