Multicam Select Fails

I have a sequence on V1 and Multicam is enabled. The source sequence has two video tracks. V1 is a nested sequence, and V2 is a clip.

The Program Monitor is set to Multicam and I can see both video tracks.

Once I click on a track in the Program Monitor to change the view, I cannot select a track again. I have to restart the app and then I can use the select feature again once before I have to restart again. I tried clearing preference and cache, but that didn't help.

Not sure yet if this is a bug or my setup. I'm running version 25.00 on Sequoia 15.1

Thanks.

Could you share a screenshot of each sequence loaded in the timeline—specifically the main edit, the multicam, and the nested sequence? This will help us better understand what might be going on.

To help troubleshoot, could you provide more details on the following?

  • Effects Applied: Are there any effects applied to the nested clip within your multicam sequence?
  • Sequence Creation: How did you create your multicam sequence? Did you manually nest clips and enable multicam, or did you use Clip > Create Multi-Camera Source Sequence?

If you created the multicam sequence manually, I recommend trying the automatic method:

  1. In the Project panel, select the clip and nested sequence you want to include in the multicam sequence.
  2. Go to Clip > Create Multi-Camera Source Sequence.
  3. Follow the prompts to configure the settings and ensure the sequence is set up correctly.
