Multicamera: possible to show two angles simultaneously?

I am learning to use the multicamera functions and I love them. Also, I've seen how to split the screen to show two clips at once. I've also learned how to create the Picture In Picture effect.

What I need to know is: is it possible to combine these?

Basically: In multicamera editing, instead of choosing just one camera view at a time, is it possible to show two or more views at a time, on the screen at once? Either as a split screen, or a PIP?

Here's what I envision: Filling the screen, a large view of a musical performance. A PIP in one corner of the same performance, perhaps a closeup of the pianists' hands, for instance. Both views obviously synced to the audio track.

I'd love to be able to do the same thing, but with split screens sometimes instead of PIP.

Is this a built in feature of multicamera editing somewhere? Or, is there perhaps a manual workaround that I can use to achieve the same effect?

Thanks so much!

Multicam is for choosing "a shot" from a bunch of other shots. So, what you need to do is time these things up by hand and overlaying with PIP or split screens. So you simply place one video track on top of the other and for PIP you just scale one down and move it, for multiscreen you just scale both and move them to one for each side or up and down. If you need to fill the full frame then it's a matter of masking without scaling and reframing the shot to fit.

Thank you for your response! Yes, I do understand how to create PIP and split screens. What I'm curious about is the audio sync for both of them. That's the part I'm not clear about. So basically, what I'm looking for must be done manually, correct? I love the way the multicam automatically syncs all the video feeds to the audio and lets you switch between them. But, it's only possible to show one of the angles at a time, correct? What you're saying is, that if I need to show 2 shots at once, I'll need to sync at least one of them manually with the audio? There's no way that Premiere Pro can sync them both to the same audio for me?

I recall that Premiere does have a feature that syncs audio with two or more clips but I find it just as simple (as I've always done it) to just sync things up based on a clap or something.
