Question

multicamera sequences loaded in the source monitor, audio track not appearing in patch panel

I've created multicamera clips and then edited them into a multicamera sequence for multiple interviews.  Each interview is it's own multicamera sequence.  I load the multicamera sequence into the source monitor and edit from that into our rough cut sequence.  Sometimes the audio from the multicamera sequence is not available in the patch panel or is set to A4 and A 1 - 3 are not available on the source side.  Can move it up by control clicking and choosing move all sources up but you have to do this everytime you load this sequence into the source monitor.  Not life and death, but wondering what's going on

Premiere Pro should remember your choice of audio channels from the last time you had a source of the same type (same amount of video and audio channels).  So if you deselect three channels in one MC clip, you should see that again when you load a new clip.

If this is not working properly, I recommend that you create some Source Channel Mapping presets for a one-button fix next time it happens.

tried saving a preset and that didn't work...  but could be operator error.   Will check my workflow again when I get back to the client's...
