hi all, I have footage shot from Sony FS7 - 4k - Slog 2 - MXF codec. i want to edit them in Adobe Premiere Pro cc 2018.

do i need to convert MXF to a different codec in order to work with Pr?

if so, what is the converter? is Adobe Media Encoder works?

And convert MXF to what codec for Pr?

Basically its a workflow from mxf codec to Pr Pro cc 18 question!

thank you very much

I've always just imported the .mxf files (4K footage from Sony Z90) into PrProCC2019 using the media browser. You just navigate to the clips, import them, and start editing. I haven't done the Slog workflow yet, but I know for just "basic" imports, there's no secondary codec required.
