MXF OP1a - Cannot change bitrate Issue

Hello,

The vendor is saying my MXF OP1a files are too large and I need to change my bitrate to meet their requirements.

But that is not an option for this format when exporting.

Adobe tech tells me it is because 'it would affect the quality of the clip.'

How do you get the bitrate to the clients requirments when exporting MXF OP1a with closed captions embedded?

Thanks

MXF OP1a is a wrapper format, it can contain one of many different Codecs: e.g. XAVC, XDCAMHD, DV etc.

What codec are you using? The vendor should specify one, along with resolution/frame-rate/audio channels....

The codec choice, along with these parameters, will determine file size.
