My audio is muting off in my timeline and sometime giving a cracking sound

My audio is muting off in my timeline and i dont have any keyframe that is causing this it really annoying considering this editing software is paid for and i cant get a way around it and by the way i have been using premiere for over 12 years and never came across this issue before

    Hi there,

    Sorry for the issue. Could you let us know the source of your audio file? If the audio is from a variable frame rate video, that could cause audio drops similar to what you're experiencing. Try unlinking your clip, right-clicking on the audio track, and selecting Render and Replace. If that doesn't help, and you're working with a Video, try transcoding it using Handbrake (https://adobe.ly/3M2VfmU). Let us know if that helps.
