Hey!

i am editing a podcast and after editing and rendering everything is perfeclty fine on the timeline.

after i export the file is somehow corrupted? after a certain point the audio is way out of sync and i am not sure why. everytime i export the 'corruption' is at a different location so one time it was on the 7 minute mark a different time on the 30 minute mark and so on (you get the point)

i have no idea why this is happening and i cannot find a clear answer online.

keep in mind i have not changed my settings as i have a preset saved that i use every week and never had a problem.

hope someone can help.

thank you x

Correct answer Ann Bens

If the footage is variable framerate convert to constant framerate with Handbrake or Shutter Encoder before bringing into Premiere.

VFR footage tends to give sync issues.

ok so i fixed the problem - as Ann Bens suggested what i did was i downloaded handbrake and change my framerate to constant - weird thing is i have done 56 episodes of the same settings without any issues and this is the first time this has happened. no idea why and no idea if this is a new thing that i have to do before every edit.

Double check if your camera settings changed.
