Question

My clip was playing fine, suddenly audio on clip is no longer showing up

So I have a project with dozens of clips.

I was making some changes and noticed that one of the clips towards the end was muted. Except that it wasn't. It's showing an audio track under the clip but when it gets to that section, no sound.

Okay. Weird.

Exit, and come back. I literally watched the audio in the clip flatten. One moment it was there, the next the clip is saying there's no audio. When I play the clip outside of premiere it's fine.

And it's just this ONE clip.

Please use the free MediaInfo and post a screenshot the properties of your media in tree view:

Many users are having issues with VFR. If the file is variable frame rate, use Hand brake to convert to constant frame rate:

Hi LuxoLites,

We're sorry about the poor experience. What is the source of this clip with which you are experiencing this issue? Also, have you tried importing this clip in a new project to check if has sound?

Thanks,

Sumeet
