My mp4 audio is having problems HELP

So i was attempting to edit some game footage i had converted to an mp4 from vlc media player (i have done this for a while and not encountered any problems) however when i import in to premiere pro and add it to my timeline the audio keeps jittering, for example, in the video, when i say "everybody" it sometimes says "everybody-dy" and when i move the footage around it changes something completely different.

Can someone please help me as i have been trying to fix this for about 6 hours and im getting very annoyed about it thank you.

P.s. the audio has no problems outside of premiere pro.

Try using Handbrake to convert instead of VLC:
