My multicam session 'reset' itself?

I've edited a multicam timeline and then imported it to a different timeline. I noticed a blank space where there was supposed to be another angle. I tried to open the multicam timeline to rectify this. It opened in the source viewer and I changed the angle. It then reset the entire multicam timeline to that specific frame and if I try to change it, it replaces it with the other angle's timeline. I now can't find the original multicam edit that I had done and don't feel like doing it from scratch.

What am I doing wrong?

I found that I imported the wrong timeline. The multicam timeline seems as though it remains 'as is' and there's a separate timeline created. Sorry for the unnecessary traffic.
