My Premier Pro has been lagging and glitching when I try to add Captions to my videos. I've cleard out my cache and deleted all my downloads and excess files.... but the software is still running extremely slow and keeps glitching. What should I do?

For a project that I am working on, I downloaded Divinci Resolve. After downloading it, Premier Pro started to crash out, running extremely slow and lagging during editing videos. When attempting to transcribe the audio to add captions, the estimated generation time became 6 hours! This was not happening before I got Divinci.

Do the two softwares conflict? Or is there something else I can do to resolve this issue?
