My premiere pro has been working fine but now all of a sudden when I open the effects tab it closes instantly as if I clicked close..

I have tried everything from resetting preferences, clearing cache, updating drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing. My specs are 97800x3d, 9070xt 32gb RAM. Any help would be massively appreciated.

If a specific project, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

Unfortunately it happens with every project. Even brand new ones..

We’re sorry about the poor experience. Could you please confirm the exact version of Premiere you are using? Also, is this happening while working on a specific project or across all projects? If it’s with a specific project, have you tried resetting the workspace to see if it helps?

Hi, I am currently using 25.6. Premiere completely closes with every project, even projects which are brand new. As soon as I try to go on the Effects workspace it doesn’t even try to load up, just closes immediately. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times but still have this problem. I have been using it with no problems since last year. My drivers are all up to date, everything works fine on my PC, gaming, using davinci/capcut, but with Premiere Pro as soon as I click Effects in Workspace it completely closes.

Try installing a newer version of Premiere.
