my premiere pro wont open up my project, saying that there was an unknown error

When I open Premiere Pro it says that the media cache can't be found as it was returned to its original place. Then, when I try to open up my recent project, which I could open up the night before, it says unknown error and can’t open it. I don’t know if this is because when I was saving it, it said it couldn’t be saved as I didn’t have access to (even though I did previously), so I had to try to save it to a different location. I also just updated my computer yesterday, but I opened up the project after that to make sure everything was fine, and it was. It’s just that today it's been unopenable.
