My RTX 5080 doesn't want to work with PremierPro 25.3 and decode 4.2.2 H265

My RTX 5080 doesn't want to work with PremierPro 25.3 and decode 4.2.2 H265, the process as before goes to the integrated graphics in 13900K

How can I make Premier use the video card? Why don't you have step-by-step instructions for installation?

Davinci is now using the video card, but Premier doesn't either

So it was in vain that I updated from 4080 to 5080? 😢😢😢

I'm not interested in rendering and effects, but in the maximum speed of the workflow to cut the playback acceleration without Intel's QuickSync

Hi @Cameromanov - I believe you’re encountering a known issue where HEVC footage stored in folders with non English characters prevents hardware acceleration from working. This has been fixed in the beta version 25.6.0 and will be included in a future release. Could you share a screenshot of the folders where your footage is stored?

on premiere pro 25.5 when i work 1080p footage 4.2.2 10 bit my rtx 5060ti handles the decoding as i can see on the task manager and my CPU sits arround 101-15%, on the other hand when i try to work with 4K HEVC 4.2.2 10bit i see that my GPU doesnt decode and all the load goes to the CPU and it maxes out and playback is choppie, what is going on;

CPU 5900X

RAM 32GB

GPU RTX 5060ti

I bought 5090 from Aorus master
And still the video card is not used when playing files in Clog3 4.2.2. H265 from my Canon R6m2 and R5c

Hi Ordo art31191951z9q6,

Welcome to the community! Could you please confirm if both Intel & NVIDIA based hardware accelerated decoding is selected under Edit > Preferences > Media? Also, how are you noticing that the process is going to Intel? Is it through the GPU utilization shown in the task manager? We're here to help, just need more info.

Thanks,

Sumeet

On one of the screens, the task manager with the video card is open, where decoding does not work, the temperature does not change, during editing and moving trim on the video in 4.2.2, the RAM of the integrated graphics core is loaded.
The temperature changes only on the processor
The checkboxes are on CUDA in the project settings
And intel + nvidia in the media settings
I have already tried leaving only nvidia as a result, some videos had green stripes and did not play, and when scrolling, the processor also worked.
In the end, I left both checkboxes. It is still not clear why I changed 4080 to 5080, because the Blackwell card still does not work

Are you using the studio driver?

nVidia Driver Downloads https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
-for all Adobe programs use the STUDIO driver, not the GAMING driver

@John T Smith Yes, in Game drivers hardware decoding for Adobe was specially disabled. These are the same drivers, with the same functionality and the same bugs for Adobe.
